This project demands significant involvement by the artist and band. Ultimate success is highly dependent on your individual efforts. To help achieve a smooth and successful implementation, it will be your responsibility to perform the following: 1. Weekly meetings and phone calls: At the minimum; at least one meeting lasting thirty minutes with Producer a week for three weeks prior to the beginning of the recording. 2. Information Purge: Compiling, attaining, and writing requested documents such as bios, histories, and other items including legal copyright documents, songs, lyrics and recordings. 3. Accounting: Creating the financial statements formats desired by producer for the balance sheet, income statement, and other financial reports for the artist to keep their budget on track. 4. Preproduction: Work to enhance skills through in-depth rehearsing and practicing with the artist, vocal and instrument instructors and hired studio musicians. 5. Equipment & Infrastructure: Acquiring needed programs, gear, documents and contracts to ensure the success and forward motion of the artist to attain their goals. 6. Preparation of all required documents and templates to be filled out by timelines advised. 7. Fundraising and investing efforts. It is your responsibility to achieve the goal of funding. Please put your efforts in to this section as best you can. 8. Communication and clarity. Enough said! You are savings on average over 75 percent of what it would cost to do in Los Angeles or New York, but in turn, you need to put in the effort as well to make it happen. This project forms a team between the artist, the producer and the other musicians and crew brought in. It is the artist’s responsibility to deliver 110% or the project will not achieve the fullest fruition.
